Ace Combat: Assault Horizon E3 Trailer Looks Familiar
Posted in Ace Combat, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, Namco Bandai by Nick on Sunday 5 June 2011 7:59 pm
Namco Bandai has revealed the official E3 trailer for the next iteration into the Ace Combat series, Assault Horizon. Straying from the original formula, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon seems to be taking a different approach to the series by adding attack choppers, AC-130s, and taking a few cues from some other successful military simulations. We wont name names or anything, but let’s just say that if you watch the trailer closely you might see a “Ghost” in one of those flying contraptions. Read more »
Gears of War 3 Campaign Trailer Revealed
Posted in Epic Games, Gears of War 3, Microsoft, Xbox 360 by Nick on Sunday 29 May 2011 1:01 amGamers got their first look at the Gears of War 3 campaign in a new trailer that debuted during the UEFA Champions League Final. In addition to the return of Adam Phoenix, this official “reveal” trailer features a few new COG faces, a couple of Brumaks, and a whole mess of lambent baddies. The only way it could possibly get any better would be if the whole thing were set to the tune of Black Sabbath’s War Pigs. Oh, wait…
You can expect to hear (and see) a lot more about the final chapter of the Gears of War saga at Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference on June 6.
Metroid: Other M Gets Live-Action Spot
Posted in Metroid, Metroid: Other M, Nintendo, Wii by Raphael Essoo-Snowdon on Friday 20 August 2010 8:35 pmWith the release of Metroid: Other M only days away, Nintendo of America have taken it upon themselves to run a live-action ad for the upcoming action-adventure. The moody sixty second spot sees a Zero Suit Samus reflecting on her past, and if the commercial is anything to go by, Other M will live up to its promise to deliver the best story-driven experience ever to grace a Metroid title.
Metroid: Other M for the Wii will release later this month in North America (Aug 31), and early next month in Europe (Sept 3).

Posted in E3 2010, Metal Gear Solid: Rising, Microsoft, PS3, Xbox 360 by Raphael Essoo-Snowdon on Tuesday 15 June 2010 4:06 am
Just like last year, in an attempt to rub fanboys up the wrong way, Kojima-san took the stage at Microsoft’s Briefing to shed some light on the latest game in the series, Metal Gear Solid: Rising. The trailer’s tag “Cut at Will” was used as Raiden ripped through enemies and objects with flair, choosing the angles as he went.
One a side note you’d think a sword-based action game would be a perfect fit for Natal Kinect, no? Trailer after the jump. What will you cut? Read More »

Being the bigger man, Cliffy pushed up his appointment with Fallon to this evening and boy was it worth the wait. The clanger dropped by Microsoft on Xbox Live last week pretty much confirmed it, and this trailer made it that much more official. Hit the jump for the game’s first trailer. Read More »
