Posted in BioWare, Mass Effect 3 by Nick on Monday 13 December 2010 9:22 pm

After the official reveal on Spike TV’s Video Games Award show, Electronic Arts confirmed this morning that Mass Effect 3 will launch simultaneously on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in the 2011 holiday season. Mass Effect 3 will be the climax of the series, bringing Sheppard and company back to Earth to fight off the Reaper invasion.

The global launch is notable as it is the first time a Mass Effect title has launched on all three major platforms at the same time. In fact, the franchise has still yet to be released on the Playstation 3, with the critically acclaimed sequel arriving on January 18, 2011 in North America and January 21, 2011 in Europe.

Posted in L.A. Noire, PS3, Xbox 360 by Raphael Essoo-Snowdon on Saturday 6 February 2010 2:02 am

As L.A. Noire slowly begins to reveal itself, Joystiq are reporting that it’s no longer a PS3 exclusive. Coming from the comments section of a Game Informer post, Matthew Kato claims the game’s going multiplatform.

“It’s not a PS3-exclusive. It was at one point, but it’s coming out for the PS3 and 360.”

Nothing’s official as of yet, so I’d take this announcement with a grain of salt if I was you, at least until we see it in print. Being something I’ve had my eye on for a while I’m happy we’re finally hearing news on this project. Game Informer’s preview will be with subscribers and newsstands shortly. Stay tuned for more info.
