Hold on to your butts…
Good news console gamers, it looks as though Telltale Games’ episodic title, Jurassic Park: The Game, will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 this fall. On top of that, the publisher has a special treat for Xbox 360 owners.
After a previous announcement revealed that Telltale had signed a licensing agreement with Microsoft, and rumblings of the PC version being pushed back to the fall, Telltale has announced that Jurassic Park will be released for the Xbox 360 in its entirety on a full retail disc. As of right now, there hasn’t been any word of what format the Playstation release will receive.
Jurassic Park won’t be the first retail release for Telltale Games. The publisher has recently released retail versions of some of its other PC and Mac episodic downloads, including Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse and a European release of Tales of Monkey Island. More recently the company has acquired the license to The Walking Dead and NBC’s Law & Order. However, Jurassic Park will be the first retail release from Telltale Games on the Xbox 360.
