Catherine’s Coming Stateside This Summer

If you follow me on Twitter it’s no secret I’ve been following this game for quite some time, and yesterday’s announcement may have single-handedly eased the inevitable summer video game drought – for me at least.

Catherine is currently scheduled to release in Summer 2011 for PlayStation 3 system and Xbox 360 system. The game’s official website, http://www.catherinethegame.com, will launch soon, offering more details and media. Fans who want to get their hands on more of Catherine’s goods should keep an eye out for exciting extras. More to come!

After throwing us off the scent, Atlus prove, as they have time and time again, why they’re one of the best Japanese developers out there. I’ll be importing this just as I imported the Asia version, at least until they announce a European release that is. Announcement trailer after the break.

Knowing Atlus’ track record I assumed Catherine would make it over here there one way or another, and the fantastic sales in Japan only strengthened that belief. Still, you’ve got to give Atlus props for bringing this over, box art intact and all – they’ve got balls!
